Chromebook Loan Program

Important information to know: How to renew or return the Chromebook?

Greetings Student/Scholar,

Merritt College has great news to help you complete your semester successfully! We are offering a limited number of Chromebooks on a first come first serve basis. In order to request a Chromebook loaner you must send an email to the Vice President of Student Services at vpssmerritt@peralta.edu. In the subject line, please write Chromebook Loaner and include the following information in the body of your email: First name, last name, student ID number, and your phone number.

Once you submit your request for a Chromebook you are to review the Chromebook Loan Agreement. This form will be pre-filled out with your information ready for you to sign at the time of your pick-up. Please make an appointment that best works with your schedule. We are taking appointments on the following dates between 10am-1:30pm only. Please Click here to schedule an appointment. Loan program will end in June. We will provide more updates.

**For your health and the health of our staff please wear your gloves and mask on the day of your pick-up.

Criteria:
a. Must be enrolled in the current academic semester
b. Student ID number is required
c. Government issued ID is required when you pick up the Chromebook
d. Must sign the required Chromebook Loan Agreement

Renewal Criteria:

Renewals for the Chromebook are completed by the Library. Renewals are allowed provided that you enroll for the following semester.

i. Spring semester the Chromebook is due to the Library on or before Monday, June 1, 2020
ii. Summer semester the Chromebook is due to the Library on or before Monday, August 3, 2020
iii. Fall semester the Chromebook is due to the Library on or before on Monday, December 14, 2020
