The Office of Instruction is here to serve you as you engage in the important pursuit of achieving your academic goals. We support scheduling, curriculum, and the three instructional divisions; Liberal Arts, Math and Science, and Allied Health and Public Safety. Our exciting array of programs, certificates, and degrees will provide you with the knowledge, skill sets, and tools you need to transfer, and or be successful in your chosen career. Most importantly, we have a dedicated team of faculty, staff, and administrators who put students first and who are here to ensure that your Merritt experience is one that will positively impact your education journey

The Office of Instruction is also committed to helping students navigate any academic-related challenges. Administrative Policy (AP) 5530 delineates the Student Rights and Grievance Procedure. Additionally, the Office of Instruction Division deans review Request for Record Correction forms that are used for grade changes. After such requests are processed the division dean’s office contacts students by email with the results. Lastly, if you have any other instruction-related concerns please complete the Office of Instruction Complaint Form so that we can provide you with assistance. Formal academic grievances can be filed with the Office of Student Services if additional measures are required.*
