Zoom | A video conferencing app that many classes are using to have face-to-face interactions. You do not need to have the app to join an existing zoom meeting. You can also sign up for free. With a free basic plan, you can host up to 100 participants, unlimited 1-to-1 meetings, 40 minutes limit on group meetings, an unlimited number of minutes. See Youtube videos on how to zoom. |

Child Development Permit
Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC)
CDTC Stipend program pays for the Child Development Permit application fee. For a limited time, a stipend will be available for all permit levels.
Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
A California state agency that issues the Child Development Permit. If you do not qualify for the CDTC Stipend, you may apply for the permit directly with CTC. You may also search for your permit on their website.
Live Scan Locations
All Live Scan fingerprinting services are “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” in COVID-19. You can search for locations *HERE*.
Food Assistance
Oakland Unified School District Free “Grab and Go” Meals
Free “Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch meals are available Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, for all OUSD students or families and any Oakland child 18 and under.
City of Oakland Hunger Program
This program provides food to Oakland residents all year. See a list of distribution sites.
Alameda County Office of Education – School Meals and Food Pantries
Free school meals listed by district, along with a list of food assistance in Alameda County.
Hope 4 the Heart
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 12:30 pm, 22035 Meekland Ave., Hayward.

We prepare our students to become effective early care and educational professionals, who will provide quality programs and services to children, families and the community.
Some possible career options: instructional assistant, teacher’s aide, preschool school teacher, site supervisor child care center director, or owner of a family child care.
With an AA degree in Child Development, you may also qualify to become a family advocate.
