Job Description
Persons recruited into the Health Coach must possess the basic education, experience, and customer service skills required to perform all the duties of a Medical Assistant. Under close supervision incumbents undergo training, observation, testing and evaluation in the full range of health coaching duties including clinical competence, data gathering and patient relations skills to fully and competently perform the duties of a Health Coach. Must be an experienced clinical Medical Assistant, having met the education and training requirements in the Medical Assistant field, and performing MA duties with a high level of proficiency and culturally compassionate care. Will be required to obtain Medical Assistant certification within 12 months of hire.
