We offer our caregivers ongoing educational opportunities, including the Senior Gems® Alzheimer’s and dementia care program, and the Senior Helper’s Parkinson’s Care Program.
We are hiring caregivers for clients in Vallejo, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond, El Cerrito, Kensington, Berkeley, Albany, Oakland, Emeryville, and San Leandro.
You must be registered with the state as a Home Care Aide and have a current negative TB test.
We have an immediate need for male caregivers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping
Meal planning and preparation
Laundry and linen changing
Errands
Transportation
Walking assistance
Bathing assistance
Dressing assistance
Toileting
Medication reminders
Monitor Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients
Requirements:
Registered with the state of California as a home care aide; this includes fingerprinting for a background check. Read more about this at https://secure.dss.ca.gov/ccld/hcsregistry/About.aspx
Have a current negative tuberculosis test
Must be fluent in English
Valid driver license, reliable car, auto insurance, and safe DMV record
At least 18 years of age
Eligible to work in the US
