We welcome coach Sergio Alejandro Valle. Coach Valle is an East Bay native, graduate from James Logan High School and Cal State University East Bay (Hayward at the time). While at Cal State, coach Valle played his last two years with the Pioneers after having transferred in from Chabot College (Hayward). At Cal State, coach Valle earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition. While on the field, coach Valle earned distinguished recognition as Student Athlete of the year – 2007, All American Honorable Mention 2007 along with setting school records yet to be matched.  Coach Valle had a professional career after playing college, and at his peak he represented the US Men’s National Beach Soccer Team in FIFA international matches. Most recently, having gone back to school for his graduate degree from California University of Pennsylvania, coach Valle holds two master’s degrees; Performance Enhancement/Injury Prevention and in Sports Psychology, respectively. Coach Valle is also a licensed Performance Enhancement coach along with several sport science certifications/diplomas, most notably he also is a US Soccer Federation Licensed coach.  Ready to rebuild the Merritt Woman’s Soccer program, coach Valle is dedicated to the east bay soccer community as he is also currently working for Oakland Roots’ Sports Club; Project 510 and Oakland Soul.
