Collin Chu is a media composer and an adjunct professor of music in Merritt College. Aside from teaching the music appreciation course, he composes music for mobile phone games, VR, and commercial in Silicon Valley. Chu received his two master’s degrees from California State University, East Bay in Music Composition and Seattle Film Institute in Film and Game Music Composition as well as a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine. Chu is also a multi-instrumentalist and plays the piano, erhu, and euphonium.
