Overview of Services

Services offered include, but are not limited to:

Pregnancy testing, family planning, birth control, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment,

HIV testing, pap smears, health education, mental health counseling, TB testing, flu shots, physical

exams, doctor visits, and referral services. (AP 5200)

Additional Services include:

      • Acupuncture & Massage
      • Drug Abuse and Alcohol Prevention Program

Mental Health Services

Mental health counseling will offer assessment, evaluation, referrals, one-on-one counseling, and crisis intervention. Additional fees may apply for certain services (lab tests, x-rays, etc.).

Confidentiality

In accordance with HIPAA mandates, student medical records and all discussions with the Student Health Services are confidential. Students have the right to privacy and can expect that right will be respected in Health Services. No one other than Health Services personnel may have access to health-related information about a student without his/her written consent.
