The Language Program at Merritt College provides students the foundation for language study. In the Chinese courses, students will learn the grammar and vocabulary of Mandarin Chinese as well as practice in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing Mandarin Chinese characters. (Spanish language is also offered at Merritt.)
