Job Description

Western Community Housing is a non-profit housing development company with a social services division. We are located in southern California and have communities throughout the state. This position is located in Oakland. The Tutor will will work with children 6 to 12 years of age on homework, providing extra assistance as needed with math, spelling and English. The position also includes adult computer assistance in the Computer Lab. Knowledge of teaching methods for elementary and middle school aged children and adults is a plus. Must have the ability to work independently. Hours are Monday through Thursday 3 PM to 6 PM.
