Immediate Opening for
Native Spanish Speaker After School Counselor, Emphasis on Sports/Physical Education

La Plazita brings Spanish to kids in our community through fun and immersive programs. After seven years, La Plazita Preschool has added a Summer camp and an After-School Program for kids, K to 5th grade. We maintain a 6 to 1 ratio of students to teachers. All activities are conducted in Spanish. Our programs are open to native Spanish speakers, beginners and everyone in between. Activities include group play, dance, art, performance, sports, cooking and other fun.

This position begins August 20th for training and the first day of school is August 27th.

Previous experience working with children preferred but not required.
Your skills:
* Native Spanish Speaker, fluent in English and Spanish
* Writing, ability to use email, good communication skills
* Sports or Physical Education experience or course of study
* Energetic participant with initiative and leadership skills
* Team Player with ability to work independently
* Ability to lead small groups in cooperative play, organized physical activities and knowledge of basic sports such as baseball, soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, etc. with assistance of other teachers.
