Job Description
FloWater Inc, a rapidly growing and radically cool company, is looking for a full-time service technician based in the Bay Area that has good technical/troubleshooting skills, a willingness to travel and a sensitivity to our environment.
FloWater has a mission to disrupt the water beverage industry by removing single-use plastic water bottles from our oceans, lakes, rivers, and landfill. We developed an insanely cool refill station which dispenses a radically new type of water which takes tap water and purifies it with a 7-step purification process. FloWater tastes better than anything in a bottle and dispenses into any type of refillable bottle.
We install water purification refill stations at event locations throughout the U.S. so travel up to 80-90% of the time will be required. Your duties will include event set up, light plumbing work, troubleshooting, general maintenance, cleaning during the event, and removing the unit from the event.
Hands-on repair and maintenance experience with small equipment or appliances lends well to this position. Experience working with water purification systems, coffee machines or ice machines is a plus. This is a fast-paced role and requires a lot of flexibility with time, including weekend work when needed, and being out of town for multiple days in a row. Additionally, you must be able to lift 40 lbs and have a reliable vehicle, preferably a truck.
