Job Description

The Inner Athlete in San Leandro is looking for a highly energetic and knowledgeable group fitness instructors to lead exciting and challenging classes.

POSITION REQUIRES:
•Abitlity to lead upbeat and challenging group classes.
•Assists clients with form correction and proper technique
•Offers accurate and up-to-date fitness information and advice.
•Motivate clients with a variety of content
•Maintain a safe and clean exercise environment within the Inner Athlete
•Maintain current CPR and Group Fitness Certification
•Follow all client relation guidelines of Inner Athlete training facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Group Fitness Certification
•CPR, AED and First Aid certification

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
•Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, kinesiology and anatomy;
•Knowledge of injury prevention
•Good communication skills and ability to instruct and teach small and large groups;
•Work independently with minimal supervision;
•Sport specific knowledge a plus.
