“The Future of Non-Violence in America,” will be the topic of the next Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series, on Saturday, November 7, at 7 p.m. , at the Allen Temple Baptist Church, 8501 International Blvd, Oakland. Presenting the lecture will be Dr. Clayborne, founding director of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford Univeristy, and Dr. Clarence B. Jones, former personal attorney, advisor, draft speech writer, and close friend of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event is co-produced by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom Center and Merritt College.
