Still Space and Time Left (to 9/4) to Study Rare Raptors in the Wild; Enroll in BIOL 80A, Starts 9/6
Get close-up experience in biology by taking a field trip to study the raptors in nature in the class Raptors of Central California and the Bay Area: ID, Behavior & Migration (BIOL 80A ((#44128). Raptors are birds of prey or predators with hooked bills for tearing flesh and strong, piercing talons for holding prey (hawks, eagles, vultures, falcons, and owls are also considered “birds or prey.” Take this 2-unit class and study them first at a slideshow lecture and then close-up in the field. The 6-session class begins on September 6 and ends on November 4. Instructor Daniel Edelstein is an avian biologist and certified wildlife biologist.
