Looking for a career in health care? Take Medical Assisting 201D This Summer – There’s Still Time to Register!

If you are looking for an in-demand health care field, enroll now in Medical Assisting: Office Administration (201D). There are no pre-requisites required. Along with the many components of “front desk” medical assisting, is the important Electronic Health Records (EHR) in the Lab portion. This knowledge has become essential because of the many changes in the healthcare reforms  and the new method in which records are being streamlined to provide better care for the patients. This information can help lead you to your  first medical assisting job

The class started June 6, but there is still time to register for the next one or two weeks, either online by going to peralta.edu, in person in Bldg. R, Admissions and Records, or showing up in the class (Mondays-Thursdays, 5:30-8:15 p.m. L-132 (first floor of the Library).
