Indigenous Peoples Day Brings Fascinating History and Culture

Dancing, drumming,  interesting historical and cultural lessons, and a delicious authentic lunch were all part of Indigenous Peoples Day, coordinated by Associate Dean Maria Spencer. While members of the new Intertribal Student Union prepared frybread outside of the Student Lounge, the audience was treated to a morning of entertainment and the opportunity to learn about another culture.
