Important Information About Changes to BOG Fee Waiver Regulations

Under the Student Success Initiative regulations (SB 1456), California Community College students receiving the BOG Fee Waiver must meet both income AND minimum academic and progress standards to remain eligible for the BOG Fee Waiver, as follows:

• Academic Standard – Sustain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher
• Progress Standard – Complete more than 50% of your cumulative coursework

If the student does not meet BOG Academic/Progress Standards for two consecutive primary terms (Fall/Spring),  he/she may lose their fee waiver eligibility.
