The Thunderbirds lose in overtime in the 2nd round of the California State Playoffs 86-76 to the Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs
The Thunderbirds had a 9 point lead 33-24 at halftime and led most of the game until the final 2:00 minutes of regulation. The Thunderbirds had 7 opportunities to win the game in regulation but were unable to capitalize. Santa Rosa was able to tie the game at 63-63 at the end of regulation. In the overtime period the Thunderbirds were unable to execute and suffered defeat final score 86-76.

(Sophomore) Anthony Knight 28 points 8 assists and 2 steals
(Freshman) Maceo Bell 14 points and 5 rebounds
(Freshman) Denzel Bellot 13 points and 2 steals

The Thunderbirds complete the 2013-2014 Bay Valley Conference Season in 2nd place 17-10 overall 11-5 in conference.
Three Thunderbirds were selected to the Bay Valley All Conference Team
(Sophomore) Guard Anthony Knight 16.4 points per game 5.4 rebounds per game and 3.8 assists per game.
(Sophomore) Guard Jalil Eppenger 11.8 points per game and led the Bay Valley Conference in 3pt shooting 51.4%.
(Sophomore) Forward David Andoh 14.8 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Thunderbirds Start 2013-14 Season in Thrilling Fashion
After a two-week layoff, the Thunderbirds started their Bay Valley conference season on January 2, going against the College of Alameda Cougars and ending with an exciting 93-90 win in the home stretch.

The men’s basketball team had a storybook run that ended with an 84-75 loss to Mt. San Antonio-Walnut in the semifinals of the state playoffs at Cosumnes River College.
The Thunderbirds (18-13) were seeded in the Northern regional but had playoff wins over American River, defending state champion Fresno City, Ohlone, and San Joaquin Delta to get to the Final Four!
