What is EOPS?
The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-funded program enacted by Legislation passed in 1969 by the Assembly of the California State Legislature. It is designed to ensure campus access and provide support services to students who face economic, language, and social barriers and who are historically under-represented in higher education. EOPS is committed to assisting students who participate in the program in the successful attainment of their educational and career goals as today’s students prepare to enter an increasingly technological and multicultural society. Our goal is to support and enable EOPS students’ successful pursuit of a higher education through a comprehensive program of services.   For a list of EOPS services and eligibility requirements, please go to the links on the left.
