Spineless or Not, Bugs and Other Animals Make for Fascinating Lessons in BIO 29 starting 8/22

.With a promise of  lots of field trips and “no boring lectures,” new instructor Dr. Brad Balukjian, who earned a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley for studying bugs (called entomology) will teach you all about these these spineless creatures as well as other “wild and wacky” animals in his new BIO 29 class, “The Biology of the Living World.” This is the first time this class is being offered at Merritt or any Peralta college, so take advantage of the opportunity to earn 4 transfer science units (a fun alternative to BIO 10) while enjoying nature and learning fascinating lessons in and out of the classroom from Professor B.
