Successful Club Rush Brings New Energy to Student Body

(Scroll for more photos) Campus life was in full force on January 27 when Club Rush took over the Student Services Building with tables lining both sides of the hallway representing 15 of Merritt’s student clubs – some existing and some new – and two community organizations. More than 300 students attended the successful event which was organized by the ASMC and the Inter-Club Council (ICC). In addition to getting information about the clubs, students were treated to sandwiches, fruit, and cookies if they visited at least three tables—a great incentive! Thanks to My Williams and Drew Beesley, ICC co-chairs, for all their hard work in coordinating this event, and to Dr. Lilia Chavez, Director of Student Activities and Campus Life, for her dedication in bringing new energy and commitment to the student body.
