Lecture Series To Present Members of the “Little Rock Nine” on Sat., April 11

The Barbara Lee and Elihu Harris Lecture Series will present “Chaos or Community: Where Do We Go From Here,”  on Saturday, April 11, at 7 p.m., featuring members of “The Little Rock Nine.” Minijean Brown and Dr. Terrence Roberts were among the group of nine African-American teenagers who faced great obstacles and violent mobs in September 1957 to desegregate Little Rock Central High School. Displaying an enormous amount of courage and discipline as teenagers, they are important civil rights activists who changed the nation.
