Hallofest Fun for All Ages!

Hallofest Fun for All Ages!

img_0469On October 31st from 11:00 am to 2:30pm, the Inter Club Council hosted its second annual Hallofest event on campus. Celebrating Halloween, ICC decorated the Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale student lounge with scary decorations, festive activities and games. The first hour was designated for the children of Merritt College, inviting the childcare center and any of Merritt’s community with children providing an hour of Halloween fun, with face paint, games, prizes and snacks.

The adult portion of the Hallofest included food, candy and a costume contest with first, second and third place prizes, as well as a pumpkin carving contest that included three clubs on campus; the Tobacco-less Club, Street Scholars, and the F.Y.E IMPACT Student Club. The winners of the pumpkin carving contest, second year in a row,  was the F.Y.E IMPACT Student Club. The Hallofest Event was a fun place for all of Merritt to come together and celebrate Halloween.”
