Hosted by Merritt’s Inter Tribal Student Union Club, the event will feature  guest speaker Dr. Elliot, who will speak on Native American Relocation Historical Trauma/Cultural Restoration, and the Thorz All-Women Drum group and Medicine Wheel Project Dancers. Also, there will be North Dakota updates from Manny Lieras from the American Indian Child Resource Center, along with Ron Spencer (both Merritt alumni) who visited on separate trips to be part of this historical protest.  “Please share and show your support,” says Interim Dean Maria Spencer, advisor to the Inter Tribal Club, ” as we come together in solidarity.”
