Celebrate Black History Month 2015 With Education and Entertainment (Click Here)

Merritt College is proud to present this year’s exciting Black History Month events program!  Titled “Revolution: From Toussaint to Ferguson,” the exciting program offers lectures, films, and entertainment depicting African-American history. Instructors are encouraged to offer their students extra credit for attending these education events — or you can bring the whole class! Please see the attached flyer and list of programs below and in this website’s Events calendar.  The program is presented by the Department of African-American Studies, sponsored by the Associated Students of Merritt College (ASMC), and coordinated by Peralta instructor Danae Martinez.
