Basketball Teams Go to Playoffs! See Men’s Game at Home this Friday, Feb. 27

Congratulations to Merritt’s Men’s and Women’s basketball teams (and their coaches!) whose successful seasons have led them to advance to the community college regional playoffs. The Lady T-Birds team will travel on Wednesday, February 25 to play Santa Rosa at 7 p.m., according to Coach Fred Brown, who also adds that this is the Lady T-Bird’s first championship in 20 years! The men’s team will host a game right here at the Thunderdome this Friday. As Coach Keenan Miller rightfully boasts, “Your Thunderbirds qualified for the state playoffs as the #5th seed and will host the #12th seed Lassen College Cougars this Friday, February 27, 2015 at 7 p.m. Please Thunderbird Nation come out and support your Thunderbirds this Friday!”
