Black History Month Kicks Off on 2/1 with Author and Exciting Line-up of Events; See Entire Schedule Here

Jason Seals, chair of the African-American Studies Department, announces a month of exciting events to commemorate Black History Month, starting with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Isabel Wilkerson on Wed, Feb. 1. The activities will continue with  dance and poetry workshops, panel discussions, films, speakers, and more. (See the full schedule below). The BHM events are sponsored by ASMC, Black Student Union, African-American Studies Department, East Bay Community Foundation, and the Brotherhood of Elders Network.
