Children’s Center Gets Valentine Teddy Bears Donated by Steph Curry and Delivered by Admin. of Justice

The students in the “Caterpillar” and “Butterfly” classrooms at the Merritt’s Children’s Center were thrilled to get Valentine’s Day teddy bears donated by none other than Steph Curry of the Warriors, a friend of Margaret Dixon’s, who delivered the stuffed bears to the classrooms with three of her Safety Aides. With broad smiles, the children gave a big cheer for the Warriors while hugging their new toys.

 

“Steph Curry is a true warrior for giving back to the community,” says Ms. Dixon. “And the Safety Aides are learning the importance of being part of the community.”

 

Curry’s donation was part of his Feed the Children Project. The teddy bear’s backpacks were donated by the Oakland Police Activities League.
