Learn About Lakes, Craters, Birds, & Environmental Careers; 3 Late-Start Classes, Enroll Now!

If you’d rather be out in nature then sitting in a classroom, there’s still space left in three Natural History & Sustainability classes that start in September and October. All the classes include field trips to scenic sites in northern California to study some form of nature, from birds (Fundamentals of Ornithology (BIOL 80C) to lakes and craters (Ecology of Mono Lake and the Mono Craters (BIO 62T) –and, most importantly, one class, Environmental Careers (ENVMT 1), to show you the wide variety of jobs you can get from your studies. See flyers below (click to enlarge) and enroll by August 30 at www.merritt.edu/steps. For questions, contact NHS Program Director Brad Balukjian at bbalukjian@peralta.edu.
