Soul Food Dinner and Impromptu Talent Show Marks Close of Inspirational Black History Month

(CLICK FOR MORE PHOTOS) Giant pans of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, and green beans disappeared quickly as Merritt marked the close of  Black History Month activities with a feast for all! Those who stayed long enough were treated to an impromptu talent show, emceed by Jerry Blackmon, and featuring creative poetry by Ajari McCaster, beautiful singing by Chioma Ndubuisi, and more. Thanks to ASMC for sponsoring the event and to Dr. Herbert Kitchen, director of Student Activities and Campus Life, for all of his help.
