Having trouble with your reading and writing assignments? We will assist you to do the best that you can on reading and writing assignments from whatever course you are taking or from a WRAC Center English course. The center provides helpful resources in a friendly, comfortable setting. WRAC stands for Writing and Reading Across the Curriculum. Through experience and research we know that writing about your reading is the best way to learn a subject, think critically about it and to develop your skills. Students in all Merritt courses, not just English, can take advantage of our free services.
The WRAC Center offers several methods of support for success in college, including:
Drop-In Tutoring: Drop-in during open hours to work with a trained tutor to get help with your reading and writing needs for any Merritt course.

English 280: A faculty member is available to provide one-on-one assistance with reading and writing skills, as a supplement to college courses.

Computer Classroom Areas: Two computer classroom areas are available for students to work on ongoing projects or to do homework for WRAC English courses. |
